Privacy notice

This notice explains what personal information we collect, why, how long we keep it and your rights. We keep it simple: we only use your details to price and do your job.
1. Who is responsible for your information
SPN Removals ("we", "us", "our") is a removals, clearance, cleaning and locksmith business based in Walthamstow, London E17. We are a registered waste carrier with the Environment Agency, upper tier, registration CBDU605328. We are the controller of the personal information described here.
2. What we collect
- Your name, phone number and email address.
- Addresses and postcodes for the job, and the details you tell us about it, including photos you send.
- Our messages and call notes with you, and records of the jobs we do and payments.
The price form on this website does not send your details to us directly: it writes a message for you to send on WhatsApp. WhatsApp is run by WhatsApp Ireland Ltd (Meta), which handles that message under its own privacy policy.
3. Why we use it
- To give you a price, book and do the job, and take payment. The legal basis is our contract with you, or the steps you asked us to take before one.
- To keep the records the law requires, such as waste transfer records and tax and accounting records. The legal basis is our legal obligations.
- To deal with questions, complaints or claims about a job. The legal basis is our legitimate interests.
We do not sell your information and we do not use it for marketing unless you ask us to keep in touch.
4. Who we share it with
Only where needed: our website host and technology providers (our web agency B63, Amazon Web Services in the EU, and Cloudflare); WhatsApp and our phone and email providers when you contact us; waste facilities and regulators where waste law requires it; and authorities where the law requires us to. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK, with legal safeguards in place.
5. Website statistics and cookies
This website does not use cookies. We count visits with a privacy-friendly analytics tool (Umami, run for us by B63) that does not use cookies and does not build profiles of individual visitors; we only see totals such as the number of visits and the pages viewed.
6. How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become a booking: up to 12 months. Job, payment and accounting records: 6 years, as tax law requires. Waste transfer records: at least 2 years, as waste law requires. After that we delete or anonymise them.
7. Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, delete it or restrict how we use it, object to how we use it, and ask for it in a portable form. If you are not happy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113), but please contact us first so we can try to help.

We may update this notice. The date at the top shows the latest version.
